EPCG Steelworks employees started a protest in front of the administration building of Montenegro’s power supplier, EPCG.

The president of the factory union, Ivan Vujovic, told Portal RTNK that they were demanding the payment of their March wages.

They are determined not to stop the protest until they are paid their back wages, Vujovic said. He pointed out that they tried several times to get information about when they would receive their salaries.

“Today, this is definitely a mirror of EPCG and the people who run this company”, Vujovic believes.

He pointed out that they could not get information about the salaries even from the Steelworks CEO Nevenka Jankovic.

Jankovic did not want to comment on Vujovic’s allegations.
