Ten to Eight – Vucic’s Gifts

Good morning! The Prime Minister doesn’t want to interpellate cabinet ministers, Vucic gave money so that Knezevic may call on Milanovic, Spajic approved of certain amendments, Stijovic proposed the abolition of Sunday off. The local government in the town of Tivat about to collapse.

Interview of former Croatian president for CdM

In an interview for the CdM portal, Ivo Josipovic speaks about the political situation in Montenegro, relations between the two countries, the European future of Montenegro, awakening of the Serbian nationalism, as well as the relation of the Croatian President Milanovic towards Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Bold PM

Prime Minister doesn’t want to interpellate cabinet ministers Bratic, Radulovic and Stijovic even if MPs back that idea in the parliament. Apart from that, he doesn’t know when he’s going to sign the Fundamental agreement with the Serbian Orthodox Church as he “did everything that was expected from him”. It seems that he doesn’t believe that members of the new Prosecutorial Council are going to be elected now when the Democrats force it to happen asap. You can read about the vaccination and other topics he was speaking for the public broadcaster RTCG on the CdM portal.

How Abazovic is having fun

Abazovic’s behavior proves that apart from the moral there is no even aesthetic discontinuity with the previous generation of leaders in the Balkans. Like Dacic, Dodik … After all, see for yourself.

Vucic’s gifts

Vucic commented on the gift to the town of Niksic, saying that he gave a gift unlike those who criticized him, and who were only taking things from Niksic. He was immediately joined by his proxy from Montenegro, Milan Knezevic, who fired a poison arrow at Croatia, saying he expected Zoran Milanovic to pay 20 euros. This is the vision of Montenegro led by the DF – seeking alms in the region.

SNP won’t betray

The SNP didn’t deceive or betray anyone, and those who attack us have bad intentions, said the Leader of that party, Vladimir Jokovic, at yesterday’s solemn session of the Main Board of the SNP of Montenegro. Jokovic told the members of the Main Board that they can be confident in the leadership of the SNP because “we’ll be wise, we won’t disappoint our citizens and will take care of their needs.”

Budget games

Minister of Finance and Social Welfare, Milojko Spajic, said that the agreement of the parliamentary majority was to redistribute money in the amount of up to 40 million euros from the next year’s the budget in order to accept part of the MP’s amendment. MPs of the ruling majority didn’t accept amendments to the budget envisaging decrease in the funds for business trips so that they may be used for providing free snacks and free transportation to children from socially endangered families.

Abolition of Sunday off?

After the unsuccessful attempt to abolish Sunday-off by Minister Jakov Milatovic at the beginning of his mandate, it seems that the idea is being revived again. At yesterday’s meeting with businessmen, Minister Stijovic said that a Sunday-off was a problem for agricultural producers. “The problem is that we don’t have workforce. A Sunday-off is also something that creates a problem when it comes to sales, because that one day would enable greater sales of agricultural products”, he said.

No budget in Tivat

The political crisis in Tivat is raging. After the local government is being threatened by the SDP’s boycott of the assembly, without which there is no majority or quorum for its work, the municipality will be forced to make a decision on temporary financing. Recall, the SDP withdrew its support for the local government following huge public pressure due to nationalist outbursts of the new authorities sparkling ethnic tensions in the town.

That’s all for today. Until tomorrow.

Best regards,

Ljubomir Filipovic, CdM observer
