There are no tourists on the Montenegrin coast. There are no organized arrivals either and the situation is far worse than in 2019. The government’s forecasts that we are to collect 65 per cent of the 2019 revenues are unrealistic and it’s unlikely we are to reach them. This is what experienced tourism officials and owners of hotels, apartments and agencies believe, writes Dan daily.

They also point out that this year’s season is going to be better than the last year’s one – which was the worst in history – and that they will now be able to attract guests from the region, a certain number of Russia’s tourists due to agreed flights between the two states, while there are no organized arrivals from the West.

Recall, the government has repeated on several occasions that they expect the country will collect 65% of the 2019 revenue this year.
